Q: Do you offer an online purchasing service?
A: No, we will send products out to our internet buyers however we always find it beneficial to speak to people concerning their order before they actually place it. That way we can be sure that the equipment they desire is appropriate for them.
Q: What is a hopper?
A: A hopper is simply a vessel that contains paintballs above the gun - when one ball is fired another drops from the hopper into the chamber in the gun.
Q: Are all the guns just the same but with different names?
A: Oh no, all the paintball guns have a trigger and a hole to let in the paint, but thats where the similarities end for most of the guns, they all have very different characteristics and abilities, if you are unsure about any of the equipment we sell just give us a ring.
Q: So what is the BEST paintball gun?
A: As with most things, there is no BEST. It always comes down to the individual needs of the customer, we have several recomended packages on our Package Deals page, all of which are good value for the quality of gun you receive.
Q: What the difference between Air and CO2?
A: The simple answer is that one or the other is needed to fire a paintball gun and although it is more expensive, air is better. People sometimes experience problems with CO2 such as the rapid cooling of the gun that occurs when CO2 passes through it can damage rubber seals, and that liquid CO2 or CO2 crystals can sometimes get inside the gun and damage a ball or cause irregularities in the way that the ball flies. Air however is extremeley reliable, the first shot will be as accurate and as powerful as the last until the air runs out, and there is no risk or damaging any of the guns internals.
Q: Do you sell paint?
A: Of course, prices are often changing and if bought with other equipment we may offer a beneficial price.
Q: What is an "electronic" gun?
A: Most paintball guns are mechanical, a bolt is drawn back against a spring and latches, the trigger releases the latch and the bolt moves forward whilst expelling air forcing a paintball out of the barrel. However in a fully electronic gun, the trigger is simply an button which activates a pre-programmed sequence of events in within the gun which results in a paintball being fired. Its like comparing counting on your fingers to using a calculator, fully electronic guns fire faster, are more reliable and incredibly accurate.
